Detail is what drove this project to its full potential. This backyard was transformed into a beautiful outdoor living space complete with a fireplace and social area. Two different colors of slate, with inlay patterns and borders, were used to create separate living spaces in a large patio extension. A pergola, supported by tuscan columns, was designed to enclose an intimate fireplace nook, while other patio spaces could enjoy the benefits of the warm sunlight. Hedge plantings, containers, and topiaries were used to create a focal point outside of a grand portrait view window from the living room.
